A beautiful desert circuit that winds through the northern Phoenix mountain preserves, offering spectacular views of saguaro-studded landscapes, rugged peaks, and the Phoenix skyline. The route features sweeping curves and elevation changes through some of the most scenic desert terrain in the Valley of the Sun.

Start / End: North Phoenix Trailhead

Driving tips: Watch for cyclists on mountain roads. Keep an eye out for wildlife, especially at dawn and dusk. Some sections have limited shoulder space.
